Alexander Babich was born in 1958. Graduated from the Yaroslavl Art School.

Since 1986 he has been living and working in the Stavropol Territory.

Every year the artist goes to the open air in the mountains of Dombai, Arkhyz, Teberda, Uzunkol for new impressions and creative discoveries.

Mountains are an artist's passion, which are always unexpected and inconstant, and this is their charm.

“Here in one day you can visit all seasons. One and the same landscape can change its emotional color in a few minutes, so you can go to the mountains of Dombai and Arkhyz all your life, and each time you will discover something new, ”says the artist.

Alexander's works are not subject to fashion. One will want to look at these canvases in 50 years and in a hundred ... This is the eternal, immortal beauty of nature, so skillfully and subtly displayed by the talented hand of the artist. The plots of his works are so different and unique that it becomes surprising how one artist can be so multifaceted. He is revered by gallery owners, his colleagues bow to him, and connoisseurs of the traditional Russian school of painting admire him.

The uniqueness of the artist is that he is recognizable. From hundreds, thousands of other canvases, knowing the brush of Alexander, you will unmistakably distinguish his canvases. Using a minimum of funds, he achieves maximum expressiveness.

During his life, Alexander painted about two thousand paintings, many of which are in Austria, England, Germany, Canada, USA, Japan, France.
